As their love grew, he asked her a question that would change the shape of their life and legacy. But it’s not what you’re thinking. After the proposal and exchanging of vows, Christian Hinrichs asked his wife, Tandy, what she would do for a living if she could do anything.
Now, most people have had this conversation at one time or another. But Christian and Tandy took her dream of an answer and turned it into a life – one of making the world a more beautiful place.
In 2003, they launched their first Fusion Spa Salon in Pensacola Beach at Soundside Market, Fla. Their second location at The Wharf in Orange Beach, Ala., opened in 2006, followed a new salon in Sandestin, Fla.
Fusion is a partnership with Aveda, but it also has its own distinct identity, Tandy says. Part of that identity comes from the Hinrich’s strong faith and dedication to helping others.
“Orange Beach was the second of the Fusion Brand to be opened and is doing really well. We became very interested in The Wharf’s development after being contacted by them,” Tandy says. “We loved what they were bringing to that community and wanted to be a part of it. We thoroughly enjoy being involved in several communities along the coast and hope we are a positive influence.”
The Hinrichs are committed not only to the customer experience but to giving back by way of supporting a long list of nonprofit organizations including World Vision, which aids underprivileged children. Their partnership with Aveda signifies their strong belief in the mission of protecting our planet.
